Security & Data Protection at LeadBell AI
Your customers hand you their questions, their numbers and sometimes their health or family plans. We treat that trust as the product — with the same care whether you are our first customer or our thousandth.

LeadBell AI handles your business information and the details your website visitors share, so we keep security simple and take it seriously. This page explains, in plain terms, how we protect your data. LeadBell AI is in beta, and we'll keep this page updated as we grow.
1. Secure connections
All traffic between your visitors, your website and LeadBell AI runs over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Your data is stored on reputable cloud infrastructure, with access limited to LeadBell AI.
2. Your data is yours
The conversations, leads and appointment requests captured on your website belong to your business. We don't sell your data, we don't share it for anyone else's marketing, and we don't use your visitors' messages to train general-purpose AI models. You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time.
3. How the AI works
To answer questions, your visitors' messages are processed by trusted AI providers. They process the data only to generate the reply and do not use it to train their own models. The chatbot answers from the business details you provide.
4. Access
- Only your account can see your dashboard, conversations and leads.
- Passwords are stored using a modern one-way hash, never in plain text.
- Our team only accesses your data when needed to provide support or to keep the service safe.
5. Payments
Subscription payments are handled by our payment processor, Cashfree, which is PCI-DSS compliant. LeadBell AI never sees or stores your full card details.
6. Only the data we need
Our chatbot collects what a good receptionist would — a visitor's name, contact and what they need. We don't ask visitors for card numbers, passwords or government IDs, and we suggest you don't either.
7. Trusted providers
We keep our list of outside providers short — for example, cloud hosting, our AI provider, and Cashfree for payments. You can request the current list by emailing us.
8. Reporting a problem
If you spot a security issue, please email support@leadbellai.com with the subject "Security" and steps to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable window to fix it before sharing it publicly.
9. If something goes wrong
If we become aware of a security incident that affects your data, we'll let you know within a reasonable time, tell you what happened, and explain what we're doing about it.
